Response: Many argue that the number of days that people should work during a week needs to be decreased. This essay supports this notion because it can benefit both establishments and societies. Firstly, well-rested employees will have higher performance, and secondly, family bonds will become stronger when they spend more time together. On one hand, the more time people have to wind down after a week of hard work, the sharper their minds will be in the following week. In other words, lack of proper rest will result in exhausted workers, who are more prone to making serious mistakes. Consequently, the company's overall outcome will be detrimentally affected. Therefore, providing employees with an additional day off not only boosts workers productivity, but also enhances the company's performance. For instance, in the UAE, most companies are launching a program that entails a three-day weekend. On the other hand, if people become too immersed in their work and do not have enough time to spend quality time with their families, their loved ones can be adversely affected. As a result, society could face greater challenges. For example, in the USA, since working all day is considered a value, many families have broken apart. This phenomenon has caused many children to suffer from behavioural difficulties, which, by a snowball effect, will deteriorate companies' performance in the future. In conclusion, this essay believes it is a good strategy to shorten the working week because it can enhance the output of companies, as well as mitigate the risk of social challenges.

Response: The working week should be shorter and workers should have a longer weekend. Do you agree or disagree? Some individuals claim that authorities should enact policies to reduce the working week, and provide workers with the opportunity to have a longer weekend. I strongly agree with this standpoint for three main reasons, including rising job satisfaction, making families happier, and increasing life expectancy. Firstly, offering employees more days off can enhance their job satisfaction. While I concede that reducing the working weeks may have some financial problems for the nation, providing employees with a longer weekend can develop not only their performance but can also improve their productivity. These enhancements can bring a thriving economy for the nation. Secondly, giving workers a longer weekend, officials can provide the workforce with the opportunity to draw a line between their work and family responsibilities. It could be argued that declining the working week may pose some threats to countries' progress; however, I should assert that a wide range of workers do not possess an adequate amount of free time to dedicate to their family, making them unsatisfied. I believe that, families are the soul of any country, so if a country did not have satisfied residents, it would not be able to progress. Finally, I think that the most significant benefit of reducing the working week is increased life expectancy for workers. If employees have ample leisure time, they have the opportunity to do their preferred activities, such as practicing sports, reading books, and travelling. Many workers are deprived of doing their pastimes, as a large number of them are obligated to work most of the week, making them disappointed. In conclusion, some people argue that the working week should not be shorter, as it may lead to some problems for the nation. However, I agree with those who believe that officials should legislate laws to provide workers with a longer weekend, because not only does this trend hone job satisfaction, but this also increases life expectancy.

Response: It is widely believed that employees’ weekends should be prolonged. I strongly agree with this notion, on the one condition that there is enough observance of how working hours are spent and how efficient the workforce is. On the one hand, based on recent research people’s job efficiency is totally affected by their mental status and as a result, the whole outcome of a typical company or on a larger scale, the country is influenced by an individual’s spirit. Being given a longer time to rest, staff feel a sense of being appreciated and consequently put more effort into doing tasks in a much flourishing way. They don’t resist working longer hours when needed if they are certain that their families receive the required attention and care for them and that their occupation does not disturb their family ties. On the other hand, decreasing working hours should not be interpreted as insignificance of the job. It needs to be cleared by the employers that being rewarded for leisure time means higher expectations of them regarding the hours spent by the staff at the office. If needed, the ones meeting the expectations should be given promotions and the other group ought to be punished either financially or by being obliged to spend more time at the workplace to do their assigned duties. In conclusion, it is a fabulous opinion to support working individuals by giving them time to do their favourite activities and have fun with their loved ones; however, strong observing measures need to be taken to have the best possible result.

Response: There is a suggestion that laborers should work less during the day, and their weekend time should be longer. I totally agree with this idea because tasks in the workplace can be done more effectively, and family beliefs can be strengthen effectively. If people devote less time to their work during the week, they are able to do their tasks at the workplace with higher quality. Despite the fact that shortening work time might results in a decrease in the quantity of products, properties are guaranteed to have higher quality because when laborers have more leisure time during the weekend, they have more energy for working. For instance, the government in Germany has recently decided to decline working hours during the week to increase the efficiency of the workforce. This decision has increased the quality of products manufactured by companies and factories. Furthermore, when people have more free time to devote it to their weekends, they can spend time with their family, which results in improving family identity. When people’s time is considered for the members of their family, the whole family can learn from each other. Regarding children, they can become more mature if the father and mother of the family devote more time to nurturing them, and allocate time to teaching the importance of the true behavior with other people to them. At the same time, husbands and wives can be emotionally happier, when they have more opportunity to see each other and learn from the characteristics of their spouse. Therefore, if weekends become longer, members of the family can have the chance to communicate with each other, so the concepts of families receive more attention. In conclusion, there is an idea that time spent during the week should decrease. I completely take this statement because objectives of businesses are done more effectively, and identity of family forms receive its real importance.

Response: It is claimed that there should be a decrease in the number of workload hours per week and workforces should enjoy more days off. I agree with this statement in order to this can contribute to higher productivity and workers mental health First and foremost, there might be a belief that heavy weekly work lead to higher productivity. While due to the fact that workers usually do not have adequate rest, they are more likely to make both minor and serious mistake in their job. For instance, if employees do not have sufficient leisure time to recharge themselves for a new working week, the overall productivity may sacrifice to fatigue. Thus, the more working days do not necessarily lead to fulfilling the aims of participants. As there is often a strong connection and cooperation between colleagues, lack of energy in even one employee can affect other's development. Moreover, allocating longer weekends to workers not only increase development but also deteriorate conflicts. When a person is tired, there is more chance to lose their temper easily. Therefore, enjoying enough rest can prevent from aggression in the work environment as a result of fatigue. This enables employees to cooperate well with each other, while increasing their cognitive abilities. In addition, people show more sympathy when they are in a good mood they can feel their surrounding environment better than when they are frustrated. A boosted energy would lift the others spirit either and make a friendlier atmosphere which is filled with positive energy and joy. In conclusion, from my point of view, despite the fact that many working hours provide productivity, it can cause many problem for both workers and work places.

Response: It is said that the working week should decrease and the workers' weekends should increase. I agree with this statement and what I believe is that if workers have enough time to rest, the quality of jobs they do will grow. Moreover, they will spend more money in their leisure time which is beneficial for the economy. Firstly, workers who have enough time to rest mostly have better mental health than people who have long working week because they have the chance to reduce their stress and relax their bodies for doing their job in the week again. In other words, they will be more energetic in their career because they had a perfect weekend with their families and friends and they can follow their hobbies; thus, this brings satisfaction in their lives and helps them to focus more on their jobs. For example, these days in some of the big companies employers understand that if they take hard on their workers to work for long periods, the quality will fall significantly. Workers usually make more mistakes because they are tired and cannot do tasks in the best way. Furthermore, if the weekend expands, workers will have more time for different activities and they will spend more money in their free time. This means, there will be economic growth in amusement because people who work hard are more likely to save their money and do investments. For instance, my father worked 24/7 in his life and we were always busy at the weekends. He did not have a chance to spend his money on hobbies he liked weekly so he used to save it by buying gold for when he has the time to go on a vacation or for other leisure activities. In summary, I agree that weekends should be longer and working weeks should be shorter because it is necessary for workers’ mental health and helps them to relax to do their jobs better, also this leads to economic growth in amusement.

Response: While I believe longer weekends have extensive benefits for employees and their families, it is not essential to add more days to the weekend, because there are various alternatives to improve the quality of people's lives. On one hand, longer weekends provide individuals with more opportunities to focus on their social life and mental health, rather than spending just two days. Significantly, three or even four days of continuous leisure enable people to manage their relationships and plans more efficiently in order to overcome their daily challenges. For instance, based on the most recent research on relationships, a noticeable group of couples broke up due to being overly occupied with their work; therefore, not having enough time to communicate with each other. Dealing with health problems is another crucial result of working too much in a week; whereas, overworking confronts people with several negative emotions such as sadness, boredom, and anxiety. When you work twelve hours a day, without even knowing, you are making yourself exhausted and fretful, which may harm those who are around you, and finally, when you realize many parts of your life are falling apart, anxiety emerges from the shadows. On the other hand, extending weekend days is not the only way. For example, if we do not consider our week periods as seven days, it enables us to have ten-day periods, and in every ten days, we manage to have four days of break and six days of work. In this case, overall, we will have twelve days of rest and eighteen days of work, which is almost similar to our present, real numbers. Another approach could be instead of adding days to weekends, to reduce daily work hours in order to spend the rest of the time with family and friends. However, many argue that the first approach is more pleasant, because even going to work, five days a week , exhausts them mentally but I believe having a few more hours to yourself every day is better than having nothing at all. In conclusion, I firmly agree with a plan where governments, employers, and managers consider their employees' well-being more and try to promote their welfare, which could only be possible with the right management and program.
