Recently, people tend to treat their illnesses and medical problems by using various medicines and remedies rather than making an appointment with their doctor. I am of the opinion that it has noticeable negative effects. To begin with, most of the drugs have side effects which people might not be aware of. These chemicals affect our bodies in numerous ways, although curing the sickness. Since individuals are not familiar with all of those effects, they might overuse the medicines and hurt themselves unconsciously. Additionally, some drugs may interfere with others that were consumed on a regular basis. In this case, the new drug is likely to wash out, aggravate or reduce the influence of the vital medications. For instance, if a person who takes Aspirin once a day catches a cold, and avoids visiting a doctor, they will eliminate the effects of both drugs by taking the cold tablets on their own. Another argument for this is that doctors are too busy and they set the appointment on a later date, on which the patient will heal. Moreover, people know how long it takes to see a doctor, so they decide to find and try different medications in the meantime. However, after going through this process many times, they become an expert in finding treatments, so they refuse to make an effort in order to visit a specialist. Consider a patient with diabetes, he waits a long time for the doctor's response, and takes all kinds of tablets for reducing his blood sugar, but this will cause malfunctions in different parts of his digestive system, such as stomach and intestine. In conclusion, I believe people’s tendency to cure diseases with home remedies and alternative medicines, would lead to negative impacts on their health, because of the inconsiderate overuse and interference of drugs.

In recent years, people have lost their trust to their usual medical practitioners and substituted professional helps with other sources for medicines as well as treatments. I strongly think, this is a negative trend, and should not be considered in any case due to its harmful implications. To begin with, these days, many people criticise the failure of modern medicine for addressing many health conditions effectively. While this argument can be true in some exceptions, it should be noted that relying on people who are not qualified with the proper medical degree would result in misdiagnoses. This not only delay the process of healing, but also may lead to various side effects as the treatment would not be sufficient for the condition. Consequently, people who prescribed these priscrptions for themeselves or others did this for them, may suffer from other health problems in future, which can have some adverse effects on their overal health. For example, at first glance, taking herbal drinks might sound safe for a common cold, but in some cases it would deteriorate the health of the lungs if it was consumed in a large amount. On the other hand, it has become common that many anonymous sources advertise their pharmaceutical products in social media. Desperate people are often manipulated by these advertisements and purchace their products for alleviating their pain. However, it has been proven that desspite positive feedbaks from these drugs, many contain high amount of addictive substances that only have effects in curbing the pain and not curing the illness itself. Although these can make the patients healthy in the short-term, it would make them addicted in the long-term and face them with its related concequenses. In conclusion, while many people consider using non-prescribed medicines useful for overcoming their sicknesses, in my opinion it has many deletrious outcomes and should be prevented by policymakers.

Nowadays, many people who have health problems rather than visit specialist doctors to relieve their pain, adopt some alternative methods such as taking medicines and other treatments. From my point of view, following arbitrary approaches for mitigating aches may have irreparable impacts on people’s bodies and minds, and it is not recommended at all. To commence with, a notable part of society would rather google everything to solve their problems, and medical issues are no exception. There is a massive variety of unreliable sources on the internet, so the manner of treatment for all illnesses is accessible. However, two problems are incomparable, especially in the remedial field. For instance, if children suffer from stomach, taking the wrong tablets, which are advised on the internet, could result in devastating their digestive system. More importantly, many people rely on other people’s suggestions in order to solve their medical problems. They adopt untested approaches to alleviate their pain, but it is probably the worst method because ordinary people are not experts in the medical context, so they may give some piece of advice that deteriorates problems. For instance, a person suggested the acupuncture method to my grandmother in order to treat her pain, and after a while, she got skin disease. If she had visited a skilled doctor, she would not have suffered from this illness. By way of conclusion, the idea that some people with health problems prefer to employ alternative remedial approaches instead of visiting a doctor is a popular topic. As far as I am concerned, there is no better method than visiting a skillful doctor, and the arbitrary approaches may have princes influence due to the fact that the reasons, which have been discussed in this essay.

These days, numerous individuals tend to employ various kinds of medications but not seeing a skilled doctor. Althogh nowdays, thanks to the easy accessibility to the medical information, as well as people's awareness, it is more convenient for all to treat themselves that way, I strongly disagree with this approach, and will elaborate my opinion in this assey. Today, due to the prevalences of technology, it is common for many people to reach the internet for searching their symptoms, when it comes to health prolems. Moreover, there are lots of inticing advertisements on fake medicines with promise of definite treatment, which fradually tempt patients to follow them. However, I am convinced that these methods not only cannot bring them their health, but also result in even a major health condition. Professional docters served many years in universities to gain adequet knowledge in order to help people with disorders and illnesses. Additionally, paitients should be visited in person, hence only an skilled doctor regarding thier previous experiences can diagnose the definite illness. Therefore, it is recommened to first see a doctor without any hesitation when you face even a minor health problem, as it can be cured with little medicares if it is noticed at its primary stages. In conclusion, while reaching to other medications can be easy and fast enough to take them, skillful doctores are specificly there for this purposes. Moreover, following wrong information can lead to irriversible problems that even professional docters cannot dael with.
